The North Carolina Humanities Council has been a Mail Dog client for almost two years now. I comparison-shopped and settled on Mail Dog for several reasons. First, it seemed a fit for me as a techno-rube.
Secondly, the promise of client support via “dog handlers” (besides making me chuckle) set at ease some of my anxieties on attempting to create an e-newsletter. Finally, Mail Dog made the price is right for my nonprofit. Times are hard for all businesses, and perhaps especially for nonprofits, and Mail Dog offers ways to have the professional look you want with opportunities for savings.
I’m a Mail Dog believer now. I and the folks I work with have high expectations, for ourselves and our partners. We look for consistency and quality and vision and growth. Mail Dog offers that and more. The client support is, frankly, nothing short of amazing, especially in this day and time. The resources in plain English on the site as I work are helpful & right on target. I’ve very often called for help and gotten patient, individualized assistance regardless of the size of my organization’s mailing list.
It’s reassuring that when I’m under a deadline, I can count on client support that is simply unparalleled.

Maildog is a great way for Dayton Ballet to reach subscribers, donors and other patrons to keep them informed of all we do. We use Maildog for the Dayton Ballet School as well, to communicate with parents too! The templates are fun and wizards easy to use. For someone who is not very design savvy, it is really easy to use.

I have been using Mail Dog for a few a couple of years now. I have to tell you the REAL value of Mail Dog is their “dog handlers.” Whenever you have a question or problem – they are ready, willing, and able to help with anything!
Another thing I like is that they don’t make me feel like an idiot…even when I ask an idiotic questions.
As far as the service itself…like everything, you need to learn the Mail Dog way of doing things – they have their own peculiarities. But it is NOT difficult and once you learn it, it is fast and simple.
I am also happy with their many templates…most of which you can “customize” for your needs. I have gotten compliments on the professional look of my e-newsletters…but it is really thanks to Mail Dog.
I highly recommend Mail Dog…in fact, I’ve put some of my clients on their service.

I think Maildog is a pretty good group that provides a reliable and easy to use product. Sending blast emails has helped our business succeed in keeping top of mind and booking up events. I think maildog provides a valuable tool. I plan to start looking into video as they seem to be able to handle it. That should give an extra boost of attention to our readers.
