Email Marketing Product Developer @ Dominion Enterprises

The Email Marketing Product Developer position is based in Norfolk, VA and the qualified candidate will be responsible for the definition, planning, and release of new and existing email based products and work closely with the email technology vendor. Also works alongside the Product Development Manager in mapping out the full year’s project roadmap strategically aligned with our business goals and objectives. The email marketing campaigns and programs are aimed at driving revenue, traffic and leads to advertisers while increasing customer retention.

The ideal candidate for this position has a solid background in email marketing, strong analytical skills, and a desire to help with other business initiatives as needed.

This person will also:

• Work with the Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service and Sales divisions on all aspects of Product Development, including gathering requirements, competitive and industry analysis, and user testing.
• Use web analytics to study trends, make recommendations, and review performance of email marketing products. Working knowledge of Site Catalyst is a plus.
• Experience developing strategic direction for email marketing projects from concept to inception
• Campaign setup: create and insert tracking links into email code, edit HTML code when necessary, send test emails and conduct testing on the layouts, subject lines, content, links etc. for maximum results
• Campaign execution: use email tool to setup and deliver email campaigns
• Manage unsubscribe requests to ensure all requests are processed in a timely manner
• Work closely with email vendor and engineering team on issues resolution, process improvement and system enhancements
