Email Marketing Specialist @ 1-800 CONTACTS
This position has overall responsibility for the development & execution of segment-specific email and other direct marketing campaigns for consumer packaged goods.
Design and manage direct marketing programs targeting various customer segments. Manage marketing programs using email and various other tactics such as direct mail, mobile and website advertising. Primary responsibility will be the tactical planning, set-up, proofing and implementation of email campaigns. Serve as a thought partner for direct marketing contact strategy development; including list sourcing recommendations, creation of test/control design, analysis and application of best practices to direct marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire campaign lifecycle, including idea generation, creative briefs, agency/internal creative production, setup with internal email tool, testing and vendor relations.
- Create and execute programs to specific customer segments – create data driven approaches to prioritize/arbitrate between segments appropriately.
- Develop new programs to increase customer retention & consumption and recommend changes to existing programs to optimize performance.
- Provide in-depth analysis and reporting on program performance.
- Ensure that rapid testing and learning is conducted in a systematic way to promote critical breakthroughs.
- Coordinate with marketing, channel and operational managers to ensure campaigns are consistent with a customer-centric strategy & channel capabilities.
- Work with IT team to achieve timely access and accurate campaign evaluation reports.
- Support other ad hoc programs, as required.
