Google Adwords Prices for the term eMail marketing – Nov 2009
Last month proved to be very aggesive for the keyword term “email marketing”.
We even noticed the lull of the summer has past as email marketier are eager to get ready and prepared for the holiday season.
Some intersting trends:
Highest volume search: Email Marketing – 823,000 searches in September as compared to 673,000 searches in August. This trend is up by 150,000 searches.
We reported last month:
Highest priced keyword: email marketing campaign software – $20.49 per click with only 2,400 searches.
The term “email marketing campagn” had 18,100 searches ringing in at just under $20.00 per click.
September’s searches were as follows:
Highest priced keyword: email marketing campaign Software – $20.52 per click with only 2,400 searches
The term “email marketing campaign” had 22,200 searches ringing in at just under $20.00 per click. This is up 4,100 searches from the month before.
Takeaway: Competeing for the keyword “email marketing” using Google Adwords or any other PPC network is going to be an expensive proposition. Consider alternate sources or try what Charles Lumpkin has to say when it comes to establishing daily budget caps for your SEM campagins.
