The eMail Guide Newsletter Contest – Rules and Regulations
TO ENTER: No Purchase is Necessary.
No purchase is necessary to enter but to be eligible you must subscribe to our newsletter. Maximum one entry per person. Duplicate entries will invalidate all entries made by entrant. Once entered in the Contest, you are automatically entered into and eligible to win any of the monthly prizes.
By entering this Contest, you agree to be bound by all the official Contest rules and the decisions of The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide, which are final on all matters relating to our Contest. Each winner, by entering the Contest, consents to the use of his/her name, mailings address,
photograph, voice and/or image for any publicity and programming purposes, commercial or
otherwise in all media used by The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide and their respective affiliates and agents without payment or compensation.
The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide in the exercise of their absolute unfettered discretion may disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process, or the operation of the website or found to be tampering with the Contest.
SECURITY: If you don’t claim the prize we will select a new winner.
The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide does not assume any responsibility for any technical which might lead to, computer errors, lost, misdirected, late or incomplete entries or for any online difficulties.
CONTEST DATES: This is a monthly contest where a new winner is chosen on the last day of each month.
The current contest commences (NOW) and ends on the last day of each month. (the “Contest Closing Date”). Every month we will pick a new winner and start the contest over again.
ELIGIBILTY: 18 or older & human being.
This Contest is open to all residents of Planet Earth who have reached the age of majority according to the laws of the states/provinces in which they reside but in any event shall not be less than 18 years of age (the age of majority in the Province of Ontario).
Employees of The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide, their respective affiliated companies, participating sponsors, contractors, immediate family members of employees are ineligible to participate in the Contest.
MONTHLY PRIZES: Seth Godin Action Figure and $25 Amazon gift card.
Random draws for each monthly prize will be made by The eMail Company Inc DBA. The eMail Guide during the first week of each month the contest is held until it closes. There is no cash substitute or equivalence for these prizes.
CONDITIONS APPLYING TO ALL PRIZES: You can’t trade the prize for cash.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded and Contest entrants may not exchange, transfer,
or convert to cash any prize. Only one prize may be won per contestant. If entrant unsubscribes from The eMail Guide Newsletter, the entrant is also automatically removed from the Contest draw. Contestants are required to pay any shipping and handling fees in excess of the first $10 to deliver any monthly prize.
STANDARD RELEASE: You will have to sign a release to claim your prize.
In order to win a prize, selected entrants must have reached the age of majority in the province which he/she resides (but in any event must not be less than the age of majority in the Province of Ontario), must sign and return to The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide, The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide’s standard release form releasing The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees,agents and advertising and promotional agencies from and against any and all liability arising from the acceptance and use of any prize.
CONTACTING THE WINNER: We will eMail you if you win.
The selected entrant in each monthly draw will be contacted within 24 hours following the draw in which he/she was selected by e-mail at the e-mail address, provided by the entrant. The eMail Guide is not responsible, whether as a result of human error or otherwise, for any failure to contact any selected entrant, so please make sure the information you provide is accurate and current.
If the selected entrant for any prize is unable to answer the question, fails to provide proof of identity, is found to have violated the rules of the Contest or cannot be reached within 7 business days of an e-mail being sent to him/her advising that they had been selected in a draw or otherwise does not meet all Contest conditions, the selected entrant will be deemed to have forfeited the prize in question and The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide will draw another entry from the remaining entries for that prize draw.
DEADLINE: 11:59 p.m at the end of each month.
To be eligible for monthly prize draws, contestants must properly subscribe no later 11:59 p.m. of the end of each month the contest is held.
CHANCES OF WINNING: Varies.
The chances of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
The eMail Company Inc DBA The eMail Guide (hereinafter “Contest Organizers”) including the participating sponsors, affiliates, agents, promoters, subsidiaries, promotional and advertising agencies, directors, shareholders, officers and employees is not responsible for any erroneous information whether caused by mechanical difficulty, technical problems, human error or any other means whatsoever including extreme negligence on the part of the Contest Organizers or website users.
Contest Organizers assume no responsibility for any tampering, mistake, theft, omission, transmission or communication line difficulty, defect, human error, deletion, or modification whether a result of authorized or unauthorized access to entries that may result in the failure to consider an entrant for any of the prizes offered. Contest Organizers assume no responsibility for any problems arising from technical malfunctions, human error, traffic on the Internet, telephone system difficulties, failures of on-line systems, software or hardware failure, e-mail transmission or account errors, which are computer related or which arise from downloading materials or participating in this Contest. Contest Organizers reserve the right in their sole, unfettered discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. All Contest winners agree to release Contest Organizers from any and all liability arising in connection with any prize awarded. Any person attempting to compromise the legitimate operation of the Contest is in violation of the law.
