Now you say “Hi Jeff”
I started eMail Marketing back in 1998 long before email was ever the Cinderella of the Internet.
11 years later I was bored of the same old same old so I decided to try publishing and focused on a topic I knew, eMail Marketing!
For 5 years I blew my brains out trying to be the best damn publisher I could be. What I learned was simple:
- Publishing is hard
- Maintaining social media take a ton of time
- Managing a daily blog requires a lot of resources
- It’s easier to make more money email marketing VS. publishing
So why am I telling you this? I don’t want you to make the same mistakes I did!
I’m here to share with you my experience and hopefully guide you to become a better email marketer.
I originally built The eMail Guide as a resource for email marketers. A place where you could find all of the different vendors and services that cater to the email industry. I also built it as a community, a place where the industry could have a voice and share their experience and knowledge.
I am now taking a different approach here. My new goal is to teach people how to BEE better eMail marketers.
Why am I doing this?
1 – I get a ton of email in my inbox and see lots of great campaigns. I want to share these with you. I will also teach you how I would build the same or something similar.
2 – In my 21 years as an email marketer I have used many tools and resources to help execute and manage campaigns. I want to share with you the tools I use and show you ones that I think will make your life easier.
3 – I want to collaborate with like minded industry veterans to help you rock the inbox of your subscribers.
4 – I want to use this site as a training and testing ground to sharpen my skills and to practice what I preach.
